Chromazone Ink has been providing extensive photo restoration work in the Melbourne Florida area for over 25 years. From minor re-touching to colorization and extensive repair due to age, water damage and even fire. Each job and approach is unique and quoted individually depending on the severity and scope of the project. The process begins with the high-resolution scan of the damaged photo. Our in-house scanning can accommodate images up to 40x60 inches. All restorations are done in house and you are supplied with the final restored image in a .jpg and .tif file format as well as a print if so desired. Our technicians are experienced art handlers and treat every image as if it were there own. No further damage is caused by the scanning process. Scan costs start at $3.00 each for small photos and vary up to $45.00 each. Visit our Scanning and Image Capture Page for a detailed look into our scan prices. Our quote includes the scanning and total restoration fees. Printing costs will be charged extra per our normal media price schedule. Once approved we require a 50% deposit before work begins. Costs for restoration retouching start at a minimum of $35.00 plus the scanning fees to as much as $500.00 for a major restoration project.
